A pair of LC2 “Grand Confort, Petit Modèle” armchairs, designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand and produced by Cassina in Italy during the 1980s.
The chairs retain their original black leather upholstery, showing a beautiful natural patina acquired over the years. The leather cushions are held within the distinctive external chrome-plated tubular steel frames. Both chairs retain their individually numbered Cassina markings on the frames, including the LC2 model designation, production number, Le Corbusier signature, and Cassina manufacturer’s mark. An enduring modernist design, combining generous upholstered forms with the precise geometry of the exposed steel structure.
